Advanced word searching
(interlinear-word-cell)

An interlinear-word-cell may consist of more than one word, separated by a space or hyphen or middle dot, e.g. and·he-is-becoming. In the sublinear one word in the original can be rendered as a sentence. A space between words in a search query can also replace a hyphen '-' or middle dot '·' e.g. Search query: and he matches and-he and and·he .

When entering only the word he in a word-cell at the interlinear search query form, ISA will search all the word-cells in the word list of the sublinear which have he somewhere in it. When you do this query with the CHES sublinear, you get over 5000 different words which ISA will find in the text. If you only want to find he without other words surrounding it, then use special search symbols to narrow the search query. In this case use \=he\= (with back slash + equal sign) in the search query word-cell.
